1. Controller and contact
Iuu is an app for couples to preserve memories and connect every day. The controller responsible for Iuu is Thang Nguyen. For privacy requests or support, contact thangnct110@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Iuu, we may collect account identifiers, display name, email address and sign-in method; profile and couple information; photos and content you create; optional partner details such as birthday, height, weight, blood type, interests and sizes; notification tokens and preferences; and minimal technical, crash, and diagnostic data required to operate the service.
Iuu does not request device location, contacts, microphone, or camera access. Photo library access is requested only when you choose to upload a photo. We do not sell personal data, use your content for behavioral advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
3. How we use and share data
We use data to authenticate and protect accounts, create a private connection between two partners, synchronize content you save or share, deliver permitted notifications, manage reminders, operate and secure the service, and process deletion requests.
Couple profiles, daily moods and notes, events, activities, places, and journal entries marked Shared are visible to your paired partner. Journal entries marked Private are visible only to their author. Information entered under “My information” is shown to the paired partner for that feature.
4. Service providers
We use Google Firebase for authentication, databases, storage, server functions, notifications, and crash diagnostics; Google Sign-In and Google Maps links; Sign in with Apple; and Apple Push Notification service. These providers process data to deliver Iuu on our behalf, and data may be processed outside your country. Firebase Authentication handles email passwords; Iuu does not store them in profile data.
5. Notifications, retention, and deletion
Iuu sends notifications only after permission is granted. You can disable notifications in operating-system settings or disable individual notification types in Iuu.
We retain data while your account is active or until it is deleted. Open More → Delete account to permanently delete your authentication account, profile, personal information, notification tokens, uploads, and content you created. Shared content created by a remaining partner is retained. If you cannot sign in, email us from the address associated with your account.
6. Security, children, and your rights
We use appropriate technical safeguards and access controls, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. Iuu is not designed for children. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your data.
We may update this policy when features, data practices, or legal requirements change.
